Brett and I celebrated our three year anniversary this weekend. The actual day was Tuesday, but I was busy adding the finishing touches on throwing a surprise party for his mom and Brett had a pizza party merit badge night with the Young Men. The boys were supposed to help make pizza, which turned into football and basketball at our house while I cooked haha. Yes, we finally put up the basketball double shot game in our basement Mom and Dad. It was a hit with the Young Men and Brett loves playing it all the time...
Anyways, Brett surprised me with 2 dozen roses, and then we finally went out this weekend to eat at Texas Roadhouse and saw Harry Potter! I am sad the series is over, but we both really enjoyed it.
It seems like the last three years have flown by. When I think of all the things we have experienced as a couple, it sure is a lot. I feel so grateful that we have each other to experience the good and bad. This past year especially with all the changes we have had, finishing school together, moving, both starting our careers, and home ownership and the never ending projects that go along with that. It sure is an adventure and interesting to see how we both grow together. So Happy Third Anniversary Brett. To many more!
