Fabulous Fourth of July

For this Fourth of July, my sister, brother-in-law and mom decided to run a 5k. While they were gone we babysat the kids. Side note, my mom did really well for her age division and got 14th place! Go Mom.

(Before picture) Little E had to be included of course.
(After picture) E even found a medal to wear too.

What do you do for entertainment when you baby sit at 6:30 in the morning you ask?
Take silly pictures to pass the time....

As a family we went and enjoyed the festival and got snow cones! The kids pet snakes and saw different birds.

Well all except this cutie. She just watched the action.
Faces were painted.
 (Dinosaur)
 (Shark)
Miss was not sure about it but obliged. She got a heart.

Then I volunteered Brett to take pictures since I always take them. This is how they turned out.....
 Yikes
 Not much better.
Brett, " Don't worry I got one good shot of everyone."
Right.....

Miss enjoyed the fireworks.
But not nearly as much as this guy!

Last but not least, one of my 4th of July crafts. I made a bunch of crafts for the holidays, but rather than posting every single one (common I know you will scan through and it gets boring!) I just posted one of my favorites. I found it on Pinterest and the lady who made the original one said she did it for $1. I thought to myself, "Challenge Accepted! I know I can make that for less!" And I did, because this cost me zero dollars. It's a scrap of wood we had with paint I got for free with coupons and the star I made out of card stock and painted with again free paint.

I know I am super ridiculous. Just humor me
