Father's Day and Wisdom Teeth

First off Happy Father's Day to my Dad and Brian. We are so grateful for everything you guys do and cannot imagine life without you!

I love this picture of me and my dad at Disneyland when I was in 5th grade.

Brett with his dad and family when they went back to visit his mission in Brazil.

Of course a Happy (future) Fathers day to Brett for when we do have kids one day.
Our photographer snapped this candid picture of Brett during our reception and it is one of my favorite pictures of him.

Other exciting weekend adventures, I got my wisdom teeth out! It is finally done and over with. Brett said I was pretty hilarious when he came to pick me up. All I remember is Dr. Ybarguen putting the IV in me, joking around with me and then I was out cold. Next I knew, I was on our couch in the living room. Brett was laughing because I asked him the same 3 questions a million times, but obviously because I was out of it, didn't realize it. I said and did a lot of embarrassing things Brett has told me about, and he was only there to pick me up the last ten minutes. Now I can't wait to hear what my coworkers have to say when I am back to work this week.

All went well and fortunately I did not swell up to bad at all and it really was not to painful either. Brett snapped this picture of me 3 hours after they were extracted. You can tell I am a little swollen, but seriously it has not been bad at all!

Dr. Ybarguen told me if I was to have swelling Saturday and Sunday would be probably the worst. I still have not really had any swelling though and Saturday we went out for dinner and I was fine. It has been a super easy recovery and not as bad as I imagined.

Here we are today before Church. Like I said you can tell my cheeks are a little swollen but only if you look super hard. All in all it has been a relaxing weekend full of Jamba Juice and popsicles! Well at least for me. Brett has been helping his parents with the wedding business and because they needed extra room for the linens, they lent us a full size bedroom set for our extra bedroom for the next while. So now if we have guests they have a bed to sleep on instead of our old couch. They got all the furniture moved in yesterday, so that means we will definitely need to have visitors this summer!
