A Million Pictures of Plants

Last year I discovered I have a real love of gardening. I don't know what it is about it, but there is such a sense of achievement in helping make something grow and prosper. I had my fair share of disasters in learning what and when I can plant, and it was definitely a learning experience.

This year I decided to challenge myself to grow almost all my plants from seed. We invested in a special garden light and heat mats. The local garden center here has classes you can take so I attended the seed germination class, bought my seeds and got going.

Now I realize I sound like a super old lady and these pictures will be boring, but because my family has asked to see my plants I thought I would post. I got halfway through planting outside today and realized I needed to take pictures, so here we go....

I just hope they don't die now that I have put so much work into them. We will have to wait and see!

Also on our list of projects completed is our old chair we recovered.

Brett's aunt is redoing the cushion for us and we are still waiting for it. I have now just finished painting a dresser and night stand, I just need to seal the paint and I will be done with those as well. We definitely have lots of  little projects at our house!

Maybe you get it from Grandma and Grandpa. They took a lot of pictures of their plants. :-)
