I took these pictures awhile back and had the best of intentions of post them.
Awful blurry picture of our entry way table. I love my mercury glass lamps though when they are lit up.
Down our stair case, with matching mercury glass candle holders we got as a house warming gift.
Remember our very first Christmas tree? Still love it!
Putting glass ornaments in a giant lantern while on a high ladder = Bad idea... Good thing I purchased enough shatterproof ones to make decorating next year a little less messy.
Our tree in which I cut off the topper in this picture...whoops. The skirt is cut off as well, but the ruffles around the edge are so pretty and also great for collecting dog hair (Thank you Lucy).
Yeah those black pillows in the background are TOAST. They were so covered in dog hair so we got new ones... Black with a pug is a no go. Just ask my coworkers about my black scrubs. Lint rollers are suddenly a must at our home.
Ignore the days on the advent calendar. It will only make you think less of my blogging habits!
This nativity is my favorite decoration! Chad gave it to us when he got home from Madagascar. He asked what we wanted and I had seen the beautiful hand carved nativity he gave his mom so I knew that was exactly what I wanted. I wish I had more nativities to go along with it! Hopefully one day.
For Christmas we had Chad as our sibling to give gifts to. One of the few things we got him was a BYU shirt, and I made sure it matched the one I got Brett. Twinners! Everyone wanted pictures and it was quite hilarious. I am surprised the boys went along with it.

Late Christmas evening after talking to Jason who is serving a mission in Chile.
This year was a laid back Christmas. It was so weird to not have my family around and to not follow through with our little traditions. I felt like this Christmas with it being on Sunday though, was definitely centered on Christ. I am so grateful we were able to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
*Side note: I could not find the Luke 2 video my family always watches on Youtube. You know the five minute video from way back when? Anyone know where I can get a copy of it?

I like the picture of the tree with Brett on the computer. Also I think they sell that video at distribution on a Dvd with other Christmas movies
