When Family Comes!

My sister and her family came to visit us this last weekend and it was a lot of fun.  It is always nice when family can come out to visit.

We went and fed the ducks, which later turned into chasing the ducks....

Then we made a trip to Big Juds to eat their ginormous hamburger. 

 Miss H loved the french fries.

 We then decided to do the straw maze close by. When the children started to get a little frustrated that we were walking in circles, we decided doing a maze with a one year old and three year old was probably not the best idea.

 So the boys looked to see if they could find a way out. We ended up coming back out through the entrance after twenty minutes of circling around. Good thing we did... my friend at work said they went to the straw maze with her extended family (including her young nephews and nieces) and it took them an hour and a half to two hours. She said the kids were pretty grouchy and it was not fun at all. Pretty sure we made the right decision in ditching out early.

 Instead of doing the giant straw maze, we did a little one at a pumpkin patch we found. This patch by the way was SWARMING with people and was crazy busy. Who knew a pumpkin patch would be so profitable??

We were so excited to have our family come. If only I did not get sick late Saturday it would have been perfect. Let just say I probably will not be able to eat at Big Juds for quite awhile now (bleh). Thanks for visiting us!
