Sun Valley

The doctor I work for was nice enough to pay for me and the other hygienist (Kareen) from our office to attend a dental convention in Sun Valley for continuing education. We were there for almost three days, and I cannot express how grateful I am to work for such a great doctor and with people who are so kind. I really love my job and I know it has a lot to do with the people I work with and the awesome patients we see. It definitely is such a blessing to have such a wonderful job and I love being a hygienist! 

Here is a picture of one of many lodges we ventured through. 

 Kareen and I rode a gondola up to a restaurant on the side of the mountain called the Roundhouse. 

 Here was our view as we ate. The restaurant is perched 7,700 feet up the side of Bald Mountain. 

 I loved the ceiling inside.

 Then after we ate, we rode a ski lift to the very top of the mountain. 

 It was absolutely beautiful.

We stayed at the Sun Valley Inn where the convention was and it was so fun! The Sun Valley Lodge and Inn had a village set up with cool stores, an outdoor skating rink and an outdoor theater that is pictured below. 

They have different concerts where people come to play the piano or symphonies come and it is free to go sit and listen. We went the first night for a little while and it was amazing. 

I could not believe how expensive the shopping in Sun Valley was! One of the stores we went to they had tons of Manolo Blahnik shoes to try on and they were $1,200 and they had a dress flown in from France that was $4,000! I can't even fathom spending that kind of money.  Sun Valley was so fun and hopefully we will be able to go to the convention again next year!
