Brett's birthday was this Thursday and we have definitely been celebrating all week!
We started off celebrating his birthday at Tucanos for dinner, Brett's all time favorite restaurant. For dessert we got their white chocolate raspberry cheese cake and now I am really want to make a homemade cheese cake. Is that weird and has any one made home made cheesecake before? Is it very hard? Anyways Brett was very excited to go and we stuffed ourselves completely full!
Wednesday we celebrated by heading to Red Robin. Last year I signed Brett up for a bunch of e-clubs for food since he LOVES food but hates spending money. So we went to get his free birthday meal and he picked out of course the Monster burger.

Thursday his real birthday was kind of crazy. Brett opened gifts that morning since he had to work late that night. He was happy to receive Costco Cash which we appreciate so much as we are trying to scrape by this semester from all my expensive tests (Sorry my program is so expensive hun!) Anyways he also got new jeans which he really likes because and I quote "They are so comfortable they feel like pajamas." I am glad we finally could compromise and find jeans that were up to his comfort standards and pair that I like and could get for a reasonable deal. Brett then came to my school to help me do my mock anesthethia board. What a trooper to get shots on his own Birthday! We ended the night with homemade ice cream sundaes since he did not want a cake this year.
Friday my sister and her family dropped off a gift for him to which he was very excited... a 24 pack of hamburgers equaling 6 lbs of meat. He was so excited he asked if we could head to Costco that night to get buns for him so he can be set for making them for lunches or snacks (Hamburgers as snacks? Really who is this guy...) We also got Coldstone for dessert and rented Terminator Salvation which we really liked. I know we are behind, as this movie has been out awhile...
Saturday Brett got Fuddruckers for lunch and then we headed to the Pizza Factory for dinner to get their famous Birthday pizza. He was so excited to get a pizza shaped in a 24!
All in all this week we have stuffed ourselves silly and Brett could not be happier. He loves eating out and he loves that around his Birthday he gets all sorts of promotions so he can eat more! We are trying hard to stay focused for the last few months as we get ready to graduate and move. We are slowly but surely packing and sending stuff with Brett's family to Idaho. I hate to say it but we are going to really miss Provo and where we are right now!

it was his bday on thursday?? i feel bad! if I had known, i would have totally told him HAPPY BIRTHDAY at school!! What a sweet present to get some shots in the mouth! haha.
and i've made cheesecake before! don't go cheap/generic with the ingredients. quality goes a long way with homemade cheesecake :)
I've made it before too. I have some recipes I want to try and already have the springform pans so if you really want to we should try to make one together and split it.
