Superbowl/Valentines Day!

I forgot to take pictures of our Super Bowl extravaganza, but it was a lot of fun. It was sad to think that this would be the last Super Bowl Party at grandma's for awhile.... We have gone to her house for the Super Bowl for the last 3 years!

We ate tons of Wingers Chicken fingers (Brett definitely had the most at about 20 fingers...) candy, chips and dips etc. To celebrate the Saints win (which is who we were rooting for) We celebrated by eating this:

Wingers Asphalt pie. Ours was cookie dough and it was so good!

Now on to Valentines. We celebrated a little early with a heart shaped pizza I made on Saturday. Can you tell our oven bakes a little unevenly? haha I tried a recipe my sister really liked and it is now our new favorite pizza crust recipe. Click the image if you want to link to the recipe. We also got this cute Valentine my sister and nephews made for us.

Brett's gift was shopping with me for however long I wanted and whatever stores I wanted. If you have ever shopped with me you will know I take forever so that is a pretty big gift for Brett.

Sunday Brett surprised me by leaving during church and cleaning our apartment so when I came home I would be surprised. He also cooked steak and potatoes for dinner (are we surprised about this knowing how this boy eats?) and we finished off the rest of the Asphalt Pie that was leftover from the Superbowl. We then finished the night by stopping by Drew and Michelle's to see their new baby. He was so cute and little! I can't believe two of my good friends both had babies within the same week :) It has been a lot of fun looking at pictures of both of them. I guess this is our monthly update for now!
