1. I do not like to have bare feet on the floor. I think it's because our house in Portland had wooden floors and they made my feet cold and I would always get dirt on them and those two things are my biggest pet peeves. I always wear slippers, or shoes. Sometimes just socks but that is rare. In fact I even sleep in my socks. I know it's weird, but I cannot stand having cold feet!
2. I suck at pronouncing words. I will know the word, I will have heard it before, I will have said it correctly before and yet I will botch it sometimes. It's like I have a huge brain fart and all of a sudden a hear myself say a word so incorrectly that I deserve a to be made fun of. I always try to play it off but my family will not let it pass by. I mean that's what family is for right? To point out the dumb yet funny things you do.
3. Everyone knows this but I suck at swimming. I don't like putting my face under water so that would probably be the number one reason why I am so horrible. I only like going if it is super hot or a water park. Other then that, no thanks, have fun swimming by yourself because I am not going to get in there. This also includes hot tubs. After my microbiology class I just lost interest in using one. Not that I used them tons before, but I really could just do without hot tubs in general.
4. I am kind of an organizational freak. Note, our apartment is not super clean or anything of the means, but I am very particular about where different items go and making sure they have a "place." Brett can attest to that after I reorganized his whole closet telling him how much easier it would be for him to put his clothes away. Well at least that is what I thought, but instead this idea backfired because Brett is too scared to put his clothes in the "wrong section" of the closet. It's not that hard, it's just color coordinated by article of clothing. Button downs one section, sweaters, t-shirts etc. and then sorted by color within those categories. It's just more then a man can handle I guess....
5. This is not just me but more like a habit I inherited from my family. I cannot wait to eat dinner past 6. I like eating at 4:30-5:30. Anything later I think I am going to die and I am so cranky. When Brett asked my dad for permission to marry me, my dad counseled him on the importance of making sure I am fed early enough and Brett already has made that rookie mistake. It would bother me when I would get asked on dates and they would say, "Oh let's get dinner, let's say 7:30 or 8?" Are you crazy? When we eat meals as a family at restaurants it is us and the senior citizen crowd looking to get their discount. Try going to dinner much earlier and you will find it is much more enjoyable, definitely fewer people.
6. I love getting good deals. Everyone knows this too, but to me it is a game. I like finding the best deals because it almost gives you bragging rights. Like yes, I did get this 70% less then you spent sucka. My favorite purchases from this last year

Anyways there are some weird quirks I could think of for now. If I think of something better I will fix my post and give you more juicy details as to what weird tendencies I have.

What, those are quirks? They all sound perfectly normal to me. That's funny about the closet. I can totally see that happening.
Haha I loved it! Poor Brett and his fear of putting away clothes. Actually I thought it was hysterical!
I can totally relate with the must-eat-dinner-before-6...I don't think that's a quirk at all!
Just wondering- Did you ever find the mouse?
