When All through the house, every creature was stirring, including the .....

It is almost Thanksgiving and we cannot wait for the break! As Thanksgiving approaches, it is hard not to get excited for Christmas as well :) This Saturday Brett and I went to Bridal Veil Falls with Doyle and Chelsea to take pictures. We wanted snow so our pictures would look more wintry and appropriate for the approaching Christmas season but it has not gotten cold enough here in Utah for snow. This is not a complaint by any means, snow all the time is not on my favorite list. It was when I got out of school back in Portland but here in Utah it is just annoying. The snow comes in November and then decides to stay until March where it is a gross poop-brown. Anyways while we took our pictures at the falls it still was very COLD and there were icicles in the waterfall.

There was a photographer taking a families picture at the falls and they brought this cute bench. We decided to take a quick picture on it to.

Our other news involves a new addition to our family. That's right!..... We found a mouse in our apartment! Around midnight I was on the computer when I saw something move out of the corner of my eye. A little mouse ran in front of our TV and made refuge behind our chair. My Aunt happened to be up working on wedding outfits for my cousin's upcoming wedding and she was so nice to come and help us set up a few traps and poison in our apartment. When I first went to get her I left Brett all alone in the apartment with our new friend. Thankfully Brett was brave and stood guard over our chair with his barbecue scraper in hand ready to take on the little critter. It was pretty funny to see him walking around with the scraper in case the mouse decided to run out and get him. We were hoping to borrow someones cat, but everyone we know is asleep (as it is like one something as I write this) So for now we have our traps set with peanut butter and we are sleeping in my Aunt and Uncles TV room because I was too scared to sleep with the mouse. Pathetic yes, I willing to admit that. I am definitely a city girl.
