Part 2 Las Vegas

The last time Brett and I were in Vegas together, was when we first started dating. That was three and a half years ago! We got there early Monday morning and not very many people were out that early. So we wandered around a few casino's and I am glad there were not as many people in the morning. I convinced Brett to snap a few pictures even though he was super embarrassed especially since we only had our phone on self timer.

Here we are at Caesar's Palace:

One thing that is fun about Vegas is all the shops and stores they have. So we had to go to the outlets and hit up as many shops in between casinos as we could. While that was my objective to shop, Brett had other goals. He wanted to go to the Bellagio buffet and to be honest it was really good!

At the buffet after shopping.
The buffet was huge and had everything you could imagine. I of course had to try as many desserts as I could...

This is only a third of the dessert bar. They had two ice cream machines, and this bar wrapped around into a huge circle! We ate so much and may of eaten ourselves sick. Okay that was just me, Brett can eat like you would not believe. We stayed there far too long to admit to but it was definitely worth it.
On our way out of the Bellagio we ran into the World's Largest Chocolate fountain and I made Brett take a picture of me with it.
I just love their ceiling in the entrance.
The Bellagio also had recreated a painting and made it out of flowers and plants in the garden which was really cool.
Brett really wanted to go to a magic show. We ended up front row and were sitting so close, our feet rested on the stage while waiting for the show to start.
Before we left to go back to St. George we decided to do a quick run down Fremont Street since neither of us had been. Brett wanted a picture by the Golden Nugget's pool which looks cool but I think I would be too scared to go down. It is a clear water slide through a shark tank! We didn't go, but Brett wants to go next time. (Thanks for telling us about it Landon and Tessa!)
Here is the famous cowboy that you always see in movies set in Vegas. The ceiling was awesome once it lit up and it was fun to see people zip line across the ceiling. My videos from my cell phone aren't very good, but here is a youtube video of what it looks like.
Brett outside of Fremont Street.
All in all it was a successful trip of eating lots and shopping. We were completely exhausted when we got home, but being in warmer weather was definitely worth it. There is so much to do in Vegas, we only did a small amount in the time we had, and it wore us out!
