Rockin' the Suburbs

I awoke this morning to pounding outside our window. Our sprinkler guys were here to put in our system! No getting rained out today.

Right outside our window, hence why I was woken up.

(Side note: Yes I know I sleep in late...)

The guy was even nice enough to have the sprinkler system go through our future garden where we plan to put garden boxes. Brett mapped that out with him along with our future patio. Am I starting to become an old lady because I am excited to garden? hmmm

Brett worked from home today. I think he secretly liked knowing what they were doing and instructing them where we wanted things. I would catch him every so often peeking out the windows to see what they were doing.

System is in and they already brought a pile of dirt to rake out which they are finishing up right now. If only it was a little warmer to put in our grass. Since weather here is known to not cooperate we are going to wait till end of May or June.

Oh and I can't forget these.

We got these delicious cupcakes the other day to enjoy. Oh and when I mean "we", I mean me. As in I ate both. Brett didn't want his because cake "dries out his mouth." Whatever.
