Hurray for Ebay!

I have wanted these boots :

For quite awhile now (even though everyone and their dog has them!)
However, I just couldn't justify spending that much on a pair of boots. Brett and I went to Nordstrom Rack and I found them for more than half off and I was so excited when we got them, but I decided I could wait till Christmas.

Well..... that was a long time ago that we bought them. I have been anxious to wear them as the warmer weather has been dropping. To somehow justify them I decided to try my hand at selling items on Ebay that could be my extra spending money to use on what I like or want. I did it once a long time ago and it was a good experience and the first 100 listings are free to list, so what did I have to lose?

I am happy to say that I have more than earned my boots! I am so excited it actually worked and that people are watching our items and bidding.

There is a down side though: stressing over shipping this stuff out on time, packaging everything so that it fits perfectly and not being able to respond as promptly as I want because the buyers usually message me when I am at work or don't have access to a computer.

It has been awesome though. So Merry Christmas everyone! This is how we are paying for our gifts.....

Good idea! Sean and I did that for a little while before we moved from Provo but with Craigslist. Sometimes it's amazing what people will buy (what I think is junk someone will pay $20 for...sweet!) Love the boots too!!

Andrea- I totally remember you writing about that on your blog. Like that little nativity set you didn't think would sell but did haha

Megan- mostly J crew stuff. I am amazed how it sells. I get a lot of stuff cheap at down east and it helps that right now they have 30% off clearance!

I would love to learn how to sell things on e-bay. I want to get rid of a bunch of crap and why not get money for it. :)
