From our most recent date at the Zoo. I had never seen a tortoise that was 500 lbs!
We have been married a little over two years. Two years! Can you believe it? Thank you for being such a great husband.
Since we have graduated and finished school, there has been a lot more time to do things we always have wanted to. I love that when I woke up this morning, not only did you vacuum the apartment and make French toast, but you had written a schedule for us to do together. From our exercise schedule (which has been really fun so far!), to our scripture studies or future trips you want to take, you had it all mapped out.
Every Saturday you try to plan something fun for us to do, from going to the Saturday Market, the 75th celebration of the park, going to the Zoo, trips to Costco, going to the museum with me for 3 hours, you really try hard to make sure we have something fun planned for the week.
Things that you do that make me happy include:
-Making root beer float runs when we get cravings late at night.
-Helping make dinner when I get home later then you from work (which happens a lot....).
-Going on walks with me and Creamy.
-Watching 30 Rock, Arrested Development and now trying to finish watching Lost. It's pretty hard when I fall asleep late at night. Sorry!
-Being my teaching partner in Primary. I could not handle those kids alone, especially when we have to take them out of singing time when they are not very obedient.
-Going to the gym together and watching America's Funniest Home videos and laughing so hard we have to take a break.
-Putting together excel sheets of finances, retirement etc. You get so excited when you talk about all of the above and it makes me laugh when you read all of your books about them. I am sorry I am not as adept in these areas but I try really hard to listen to your ideas, even when I don't understand everything.
- Every time we drive by a store and breeders have puppies you stop to let me play with them. You have been very good in researching out dogs for when we finally get one and always ask owners about their dogs on all of your appointments.
-You have been super supportive of Jason on his mission and have written him A LOT.
-I love that for our trip you already have it planned out that when you have to work, that will be my designated shopping time. You know that I will want to go look around for decorations for our future home and Halloween decorations.
-When we went to the book store you stayed longer then you wanted to because of me. You stayed so I could read all the juicy magazines I see my patients at work read that I do not have time to read. You also humored me by looking at the latest Martha Stewart Magazine in between your Portuguese book.
I just wanted to say thank you for being my husband. I love you so much.
Your Wife,
A
(Sorry your eyes are closed but this is the only picture we took of ourselves at the Zoo this weekend)

I'm glad Brett's such a good husband or else we'd have to beat him up. And it kills me that his eyes are closed in the picture! Surprise! Hahaha!

P.S. We love Brett too!
