As of late

I am awful at taking pictures so we don't have any to document for this post, but here is the run down on what is new with us!

Brett is working lots with his dad and really enjoying it. He had to take some licensing classes in Boise which was no fun for me because he was gone for 2 weeks. I was sad we didn't get to go to the class in Portland, but hopefully we can go visit for the holidays and have a longer trip then. I am glad it is over and I have my hubby back.

I am trying to keep busy with work which I have been a lot this August. It has been really good to keep busy since Brett always is. I think/hope this September will quiet down a little and I am not juggling my schedule as much because I am not working as many Fridays and one office is taking a week off because the doctor will be on a cruise. It is hard to figure out a schedule between several offices, that is for sure!

I also went on a quick trip to Portland this July to visit my parents and friends. I really miss it there and hope to go back again soon. It was awesome catching up with friends, playing bocce ball, eating Voo Doo donuts (which were delicious!) and shopping lots. I love the Woodburn Outlets so much.

We also had a visitor to our little apartment! My mom came to visit for a quick trip and it was fun to show her where we live, work and around town. While she was here we also celebrated Brett's Mom's birthday.

We were just called to be Sunbeam teachers in church (the 3-4 yr olds) and we hear a lot of stories that are hilarious and I am sure their parents don't want them to tell. The hardest part of our calling is just getting the kids to sit down! In primary we had one kid crawling underneath the chairs, one run under the front table and hit the table cloth from underneath during singing time (we had to crawl under and grab her!) and while this happened another kid ran under and started hitting the table cloth as well. Also, just on our way from class to Primary, one kid ran straight for the door and bolted outside. Brett had to chase her down because she headed for the parking lot. Needless to say we come home EXHAUSTED from church haha

Life is good and we are keeping busy, I will post pictures as soon as I take some... We will see when that happens
