Waiting For My Real Life to Begin

I cannot imagine what would be better than studying over 600 powerpoint slides on a class about old people. Hmmm, probably ANYTHING at this point. So while I sit in my gross pajamas pretending like I care about the GI problems they face, I thought it would be appropriate to blog for a second.

Here we are on Pioneer day getting ready to light some Sparkelers...

We had stayed after the Owlz game to watch Fireworks . Britney brought some for us to celebrate with as well, but sadly we got shut down by the fierce Orem Police.

We also went to the Spanish Fork Rodeo!

Can you see the Bulls behind us?

Awkward pose to show off Chelsea's boots. Brett in Doyle's hat!

Again can you see the bulls?

Trying our best to look country!

Anyways the title of my post is a song By Colin Hay. Haven't heard it? Click here!

These lyrics I feel express my feelings well right now:

Any minute now, my ship is coming in
I'll keep checking the horizon
I'll stand on the bow,
feel the waves come crashing
Come crashing down down down, on me

And you say, be still my love
Open up your heart
Let the light shine in
But don't you understand
I already have a plan
I'm waiting for my real life to begin

I think that is how I feel about finishing this summer semester. We won't be driving as much, we will be able to relax for a bit and next April we will be DONE with jumping through all the hoops of school. Any minute now, my ship is coming in...

Oh an on a random note, you know you are getting old when someone tells you a Lady Gaga joke and you don't get it because you don't know what music she sings or anything about her for that matter. I listen to old school music people, because that is what I am..... I find myself getting further and further away from the pop scene and becoming progressively less cool. Probably cause I am an old married fart!
