This year we kicked off the 4th of July bright and early. We went to the Balloon Launch at 6:30 in the morning. It was quite exciting.

We watched them fill up
Here is the pig for Bank of America Fork almost ready to float away
Here it goes!
Up, Up and away goes Lady Lex!
Here are some of the balloons right after the launch, I could not get the Smokey the Bear or the Chili's balloon
Tony the Tiger also made an appearance
It was balloon paradise for all little kids and babies alike

We then had an awesome pancake breakfast thanks to my brother in law, and afterward Brett and I went to bed to catch up on sleep. The rest of my family went to the Provo Parade, Freedom Festival and did all sorts of fun things while we slept.
We later barbecued, made root beer and to top it all off had two and a half hours of fire works to entertain us and the rest of the neighbors. At home we watched a little bit of BYU's Stadium of Fire's fireworks, and then we were off to bed. What a long but great day. We are so blessed to live in this country!

You guys are fun. I still think that IF has a better 4th of July overall, but that's probably just cause I am used to it! I just need to face the fact that I will probably be in Provo for a long time and learn to love it here! Maybe...:)
ahhh i'm so jealous! on fri i went late to teh balloons so they were already up in the air then sat i slept through it... there's always next year!
Looks like a ton of fun- we've never seen the balloons filling up....haven't been able to get up that early...
Can't wait until we're back in Provo and can hang out with you guys!
