A Night In Salt Lake

With finals over, Brett and I can finally spend all of our time together. It has been so fun! It is great having the time to go on dates or just hang out without the stress of school. One semester down, only 4 more to go... Not so horrible right? Last Saturday we went up to Salt Lake City for a wedding reception with Doyle and Chelsea. We made a night of it by going to Temple Square to see their beautiful lights while we were there. It was so fun but FREEZING! When we were looking at the lights we stopped in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building to warm up for a bit and there were several wedding parties there too. It must be a popular time to get married because also that day, Brett's good friend Robert got married in Idaho Falls. We were sad to miss it but Brett's mom was able to go and Brett was able to talk to some friends via her phone. She also took pictures for us to see. So 2 weddings down, 1 more to go this Saturday for my cousin.

Here we are inside the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. This picture does not do justice for how pretty it was inside the building.

The view from JSMB restaurant

No Brett is not wearing a coat. He wasn't "cold" enough to wear it. That is what I get for marrying a boy from Idaho....

Chelsea took this picture of the lights. Look at the detail! Practically every branch is covered.

Here is Katelin at the reception with a few dental hygiene classmates. It was beautifully done and we are so happy for them. Congrats Katelin and Brad!

Anyways, since we haven't uploaded any more of our Christmas pictures I will have to post about them later.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
