Dentists
It's a good thing I don't mind going to the dentist because I am literally a patient EVERYDAY in my program. Tomorrow is our first day of scaling and I am nervous! Scaling is when we use really sharp instruments to scrape calculus off the teeth. It's so easy when you work on a model, but when you work on real people it is a different ball game. I guess that's why we have another 3 months of practicing on each other before we see patients. Anyways I love Bill Cosby's act about dentists. You have to watch this...

afton! it was so good to see you. sorta. in the movie theatre. haha. i really thought i'd heard someone but didn't want to look stupid so i kept walking... haha. did you like the movie? i watched it in bolivia-- LOVED IT. it seemed a lot darker this time around though. but i still loved it... :)
