Busy Times

Last weekend we bought a couch and a chair off of KSL.com and we finally got them on Wednesday. Afton's brother helped us move them in and we finally got them all arranged. Here is what they look like

Now people don't have to sit on the floor when they come visit.

My younger brother had a football game on Friday and it was really cold. Despite losing, he played really well. He scored 2 times, well technically 3 but one was called back, and one of his touchdowns was a 96 yard run. Here is a picture of us at the game. Afton was so cold she had 4 blankets, 2 coats and sat in the center to be shielded from the wind. It snowed about one inch that night after the game. Afton is not looking forward to winter.

And this picture is not from the weekend but it was from the weekend before. Afton's sister and nephew came to visit and G wanted to try out exercise balls grandma had given us. Supposedly by laying on them it helps stretch out your back and feels "good". On the flip side it does NOT feel good, but G insisted it did. We all laughed at him rolling around awkwardly on the exercise balls exclaiming " This feels SOOOO good!!" G is full of funny quotes. This weekend Afton's sister had her baby and when the baby was hungry G yelled " I will go get the baby food!" Grabbing tiny apples he had picked earlier that month that he told us were perfectly sized for the baby. When she explained the baby needed milk, he then ran full speed to the fridge for some milk. G is a very good helper. He loves petting the new baby (that's what he calls it) and helping out mom. All in all it has been a busy couple of weeks, but it has been nice to be around our families. Afton's mom will be coming out next week to see the new baby as well and we are excited for that as well.
