A Break From School!

School has been pretty crazy and after 7 tests and what seems like a thousand quizzes, I decided a break might be nice. It was not hard to convince Brett considering how busy he is as well with school and work. We are always on the go. Luckily this weekend we got to take a vacation. Okay it was only 3 days but it was so nice not worrying about school or work etc. Brett's family was nice enough to let us use their Condo in St. George with our friends Chelsea and Doyle. We left Friday and got there that night and played karaoke and watched Arrested Development which we LOVE. Saturday we hiked the Dixie "mountain" and swam. The boys watched football while Chelsea and I shopped and then later that night we went to the temple, ate at Cracker Barrel and watched a scary movie in light of Halloween. Sunday we saw Brigham Young's house along with the tabernacle and then we went to In-n-Out which was delicious as always! After playing games and relaxing we had to say goodbye to St. George to head back to Provo for school. Overall it was a way fun trip and I wish we had more breaks in the future. Sadly school for me has only a few weeks off until April of 2010. We have 2 weeks off for Christmas and 2 weeks off in August and that is it until graduation in April. Until then, I guess we will have to find more ways to relax!

Warning, we have posted a LOT of pictures!

Brigham Young's House
That fireplace is not marble but it is actually wood painted to look like marble. We thought that was pretty interesting!

The St. George Tabernacle
A cool chandelier they had at the tabernacle
We loved this Spiral Staircase!
Sitting on the temple steps

Climbing the Dixie Mountain

I didn't bring athletic shoes so I ended up hiking in flip flops. Not one of my brighter moments
Brett at the highest point

Brett climbing once again

It was fun to play karaoke even though we lost everytime!
Here we are outside one of the pools after we swam
An outdoor park we played at by the tabernacle
Brett tried running through when there wasn't any water and ended up getting sprayed pretty bad
They couldn't get just couldn't get enough of climbing so they climbed the tower in City Square

Afton-

It's been a rather long while since I've seen/talked to you. I saw your comment on the Drew's blog. I didn't even freaking know you were married! Congrats... although you've probably been married for a while. Crazyness...
